Although most of the Dutch castles are not world-renowned, the Netherlands
has some fabulous medieval castles. You will be surprised when you’ll see the density of
castles in Netherlands, and most of them are also in a pretty good shape.
Some of the most interesting castles in the Netherlands include the Muiden
Castle (Muiderslot) or the Kasteel de Haar (de Haar Castle).
When it comes to palaces and royal residences, the Netherlands has some of
the finest residences too. Worth mentioning is the Royal Palace of Amsterdam.
