Unlike other European countries, castles in Belarus are
few and far between. With a few exceptions, the castles in Belarus
are not in a good shape either.
Surely the most famous fortress in the whole Belarus is
the Brest Fortress, situated along the Polish border.
Mir Castle is another beautiful castle in Belarus, being also an
UNESCO World Heritage site.
